I lack basic knowledge about how it really works, so here is my question:If A wants to pay D via B and C lets say 0.5 BTC but it happens to be that C does only have 0.2 BTC loaded in his channel to D, the payment can not happen right?I just try to understand basic use cases. I imagine at the beginning of the month, I open a channel (with the next gas station, supermarkt, amazon or whatever) and put inside a certain amount, lets say 0.5 BTC. So even when I have enough to pay a certain amount, like lets say 0.4 BTC, does every channel between me and the target node has to have min. 0.4 BTC loaded to make this payment happen? In other words, having a direct or indirect connection to the reciever of my payment is not enough, also all the channels inbetween have to have the min. amount charged? via /r/Bitcoin http://ift.tt/2stO4ya
